A long time ago, English walnut was so sought-after it was worth more than its own weight in gold.

It’s still in demand, and it’s still clear why – walnut is the classiest of all British hardwoods.  I was exceptionally lucky to find these quarter-sawn boards, and lucky too to be able to put together a design for the client which allowed the splendour of the walnut to shine through.

Dimensions: 1000 x 1000 x 460 mm.
