Last chance table

These oak boards were once roof joists holding up an 18th century cider mill. They were chucked on a bonfire when renovations were being done but when I rescued them and cut through the outer layers, the perfect wood within shone through. This coffee table is a prototype designed to show off the depth of this wood’s history – the handmade nails and square pegs, the burrs and stains and starry steel – but you could commission any design from the joists which remain.

If you’d like to discuss ordering one of these, or customising a design to suit your individual situation, then please contact me.
